I got a bit more done on this last night. I made a few adjustments on the the horse and blocked in some more color She is starting to get out of the "early uglies" stage of the painting. I smoothed out the background and I am thinking (on the advice of a fellow artist) that I will make it very loose. I am hoping to put a fe more hours into this tonight and hopefully complete it.
