 Art of the Horse Decal
Nicker Stickers! I was surfing around the web few weeks ago and came across a store called Nicker Stickers that sells these really cool vinyl animal decals.. Now I am always brainstorming new ways to market my art and I saw that they can be customized. I thought this would be great on the back window of my car with my business name and website address. I could have some free advertising. I live in a REALLY horsey area so I figured I might as well put my car to work for me!! I ordered my decal and the first day..I had someone inquire about my art. They saw the decal on my car and they caught up with me in the Post Office and it resulted in the sale of 2 prints! The decal is done really well and it could be customized for a horse or dog business. Anine Colaire is the owner/artist and she does a wonderful job. Highly recommended!
I would love here about novel art marketing ideas that have resulted in sales and exposure! Please, feel free to share your ideas in the comment s below! I love hearing from other artists! Have a great evening!

Vista Print (www.vistaprint.com) can whip up a car door magnet for you in a heart beat. They will print your uploaded originals or one of their design templates. They're fast, extremely reasonable, and accurate (so just make sure you're happy with your submission, 'coz that's exactly what you'll get, 'sez the girl who once submitted a fine typo...) They're also constantly running sales on this and that, and car magnets were free last week.
In any case, I use them for my postcards for mailing, business cards and such and have had good luck to date. Maybe I'll get a car door magnet myself, having noted yours.
cheers,
bach

Thanks for commenting. I use Vista Print for my postcards. I LOVE them. Great service. I didn't realize they did car magnets. I will have to look into that!
